DES 2623 - Interior Design Studio II

This studio course will provide an introduction to lighting and its uses in commercial and residential applications. Topics to be addressed include lighting theory, emotive capabilities, life safety codes, lighting calculations, development of reflected ceiling plans, systems integration and electrical plans.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: DES 1023, DES 1133, DES 1043, DES 1153, DES 1121, DES 1412, DES 2323, DES 2333 AND DES 2343 all with minimum grade of C

Concurrent Enrollment / Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in DES 2633 is required.

Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment is open to Interior Design majors only with sophomore standing or above.
