DES 2343 - Materials and Textiles

This studio course will coordinate the study of surface materials and textiles with implementation in a variety of applications. Topics of interest will include performance characteristics, fire resistant qualities, acoustical properties, and fabrication and installation of materials and textiles for structural finishes and furnishings.

Prerequisites: DES 1023, DES 1133, DES 1043, DES 1153, DES 1121 AND DES 1412 all with minimum grade of C

Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment open to Interior Design majors only with sophomore standing or above.
