MATH 1593 - Plane Trigonometry


This course is designed for students to acquire computational proficiency with traditional topics from plane trigonometry. Content includes definitions and graphs of the six trigonometric functions, techniques for solving right and oblique triangles, the inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, and solving trigonometric equations in isolation and in the context of applications.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: MATH 1453  OR MATH 1513  OR MATH 1533  with a minimum grade of “C” or appropriate placement score.
