MATH 1533 - Precalculus-Algebra This course is designed to prepare students for Calculus 1. Topics include properties and characteristics of functions and their graphs, including: linear, quadratic, polynomial, piecewise, exponential, logarithmic and rational functions, solving equations and inequalities, transformations, conic sections, solving linear equations, solving nonlinear systems, and an introduction to sequences and series.
Credit Hours: 3
Concurrent Enrollment / Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in MATH 1533D is required.
