ECON 2173 - Principles Of Business Statistics

Introductory statistical methods are presented employing statistical computer software and applications to typical business and economic problems. Topics include: descriptive statistics, probability concepts, probability distribution, estimation, hypothesis testing, introduction to regression analysis, and correlation.  

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: MATH 1453  OR MATH 1513  OR MATH 1533  OR (MATH 2053  OR concurrent enrollment in MATH 2053 )

Notes: Credit cannot be earned for both ECON 2173 and STAT 2113 .
