ECON 2173 - Principles Of Business Statistics Introductory statistical methods are presented employing statistical computer software and applications to typical business and economic problems. Topics include: descriptive statistics, probability concepts, probability distribution, estimation, hypothesis testing, introduction to regression analysis, and correlation. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1453 or MATH 1513 or MATH 1533 or MATH 2053 or concurrent enrollment in MATH 2053 . Credit cannot be earned for both ECON 2173 and STAT 2113 .

Prerequisites: MATH 1453 for undergraduate level with minimum grade of D OR MATH 1513 for undergraduate level with minimum grade of D OR MATH 1533 for undergraduate level with minimum grade of D OR MATH 2053 for undergraduate level with minimum grade of D OR MATH 2053 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN.
