ART 4533 - Jewelry and Metals III


This advanced course will explore metalworking techniques: enameling, advanced mechanisms, powder-coating, and fold-forming. The student will propose and organize one of three projects which displays continued personal development of their artistic statement and concepts, investigation of advanced techniques, consideration of alternative materials, and research of contemporary artists practicing in the field of jewelry. Personal expression is encouraged and practiced through the development of conceptual skills that utilize both traditional and contemporary methods. 

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: ART 2903 ART 2463  AND ART 3723  all with minimum grade of C.

Enrollment Restrictions: Junior or senior standing.
