ART 3723 - Jewelry and Metals I This course will explore metalworking techniques: sinking, hollow form fabrication, mechanisms, and explore production work and wearability. The student will apply all previously learned basic skills in design, technique, and craftsmanship with the completion of several jewelry pieces and small metal objects. Personal expression will be encouraged and practiced through the development of conceptual skills that utilize both traditional and contemporary methods.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: ART 2903 AND ART 2463 both with minimum grade of C
Enrollment Restrictions: Sophomore or junior standing.
