ADED 5323 - Coach Mentor Adult Learners

This course will familiarize the student with the basic skills, theories and values of coaching and mentoring adult learners. These skills are valuable when working with adults in corporate, non-profit, and educational settings. There is an emphasis on listening skills, relationship building, setting goals, enabling insight, and learning in others, as well as growing in an understanding of oneself. This course also explores issues of ethical practice while working online and face to face with mentees or as a coach.
