ADED 5133 - History & Phil of Adult Ed This course examines the historical and philosophical foundations in adult education. Students will be exposed to the historical movements, key trends, philosophical underpinnings, and theoretical frameworks influencing adult education theories and practice in the United States. The central goal of this course is to create a “community of learners” modeled after other current and historical adult education programs and practices.
