MUS 5163 - Classical Era Music

This course presents an intensive exploration of the music of the high classical era with special emphasis on its historical and social context and their influence on the music of the time. Students will participate actively through research and presentation of special topic areas, developing expertise in the historical and theoretical analysis of the repertoire and its primary sources. Prerequisite(s): Enrollment open to graduate music majors only.
