ACCT 5232 - Foundations in Accounting

This course is designed to provide a basic foundation in accounting tools and techniques needed to be successful in understanding and applying accounting information to decision making in the area of finance. Students will have an understanding of where accounting information is derived, the basic preparation skills for financial statements, and basic tools for applying, analyzing, and interpreting accounting information in the business world.
