Select two science courses from the below subject areas. Each must include a lab. These courses are necessary to meet FEPAC accreditation standards.

• BIO 1114 - General Biology OR equivalent OR higher (BIO 1211  University Life Sciences Lab OR equivalent OR higher)
• CHEM 1014 - Chemistry for Health & Safety OR equivalent OR higher (CHEM 1014L  OR equivalent OR higher)
• PHY 1003 - Introduction To Physics OR equivalent OR higher (PHY 1011  University Physical Science Laboratory OR equivalent OR higher)

This is not a stand-alone program. There are two pathways to obtaining this degree: (1) Earn a concurrent UCO degree in one of the majors below* or (2) After completing an appropriate related bachelor’s degree, obtain this degree as a second bachelor’s degree.

*B.S. in Computer Science, B.S. in Computer Science - Applied, B.S. Computer Science - Information Science, B.S. in Computer Engineering, B.S. in Data Sciences, B.B. A. in Information and Operations Management - Management Information Systems (MIS), or B.S. in Software Engineering.

The number of credits needed to meet degree requirements exceeds 124 hours and will vary according to course selection.

Minimum Grade Requirements

1. Average in all college course work and course work at UCO: 2.25
2. A minimum grade of “C” must be earned in all courses in the major to count toward meeting degree requirements.
