Support Courses: 7-10 Minimum Required Hours
Select two science courses from the below subject areas. Each must include a lab. These courses are necessary to meet FEPAC accreditation standards.
Forensic Investigations: 36 Minimum Required Hours
Forensic Science Core: 12 Credit Hours
Forensic Investigations: 6 Credit Hours
Statistics: 3 Credit Hours
Electives: 12 Credit Hours
Additional Degree
This is not a stand-alone program. There are two pathways to obtaining this degree: (1) Earn a concurrent UCO degree* or (2) After completing an appropriate related bachelor’s degree, obtain this degree as a second bachelor’s degree.
*The B.S. in Forensic Investigations may be combined with any UCO undergraduate bachelor’s degree except for the B.S. in General Studies.
The number of credits needed to meet degree requirements exceeds 124 hours and will vary according to course selection.
Minimum Grade Requirements
- Average in all college course work and course work at UCO: 2.25
- A minimum grade of “C” must be earned in all courses in the major to count toward meeting degree requirements.
