Modern Language Requirement: 0-8 Credit Hours

All students completing a B.A. in Mass Communication - Professional Media shall complete the first two semesters of a second language. Students may alternatively fulfill the language requirement by proof of academic work in the second language (CLEP test through Elementary II level, for example SPAN 1224), four years of high school language courses, or transfer work from another institution.

Accelerated Degree Pathway (ADP)

Accelerated B.A. in Mass Communication - Professional Media/M.A. Strategic Communications (Leadership in Communications)

Seniors accepted into the Accelerated Degree Pathway program may substitute the following 5000-level graduate courses for 4000-level electives, earning dual credit toward their B.A. degree and the M.A. in Strategic Communications (Leadership in Communications). Admission to the ADP program requires a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. All course substitutions must be approved by the graduate advisor. Limit: 10 hours.
