A minor is an optional component of a student’s degree (unless otherwise stated) that, upon graduation, will be reflected on the student’s transcript. A student may earn a minor or multiple minors in the same program, provided the minors differ at the major level. Minors may not be earned independently of a bachelor’s degree granted by the University of Central Oklahoma. Minors may not be earned as a part of an associate degree. Minors do not appear on diplomas.

Dance: 24 Minimum Required Hours
Performance: 12 Credit Hours
(4 hours in each area of Modern, Ballet and Jazz Technique & Theory; level can be repeated and count towards the 12 hours.) Required courses: 12 Credit Hours
Minimum GPA in all course work and course work at UCO: 2.50
A grade of “C” or better must be earned in each course in the minor to count toward meeting requirements for this minor.
Upper Division Hours (3000/4000 level): 6
