All students completing a B.A. in History of Art and Visual Culture shall complete the first two semesters of a second language. Students may alternatively fulfill the language requirement by proof of academic work in the second language (CLEP test through LATN 1224 ), four years of high school language courses, or transfer wrok from another institution.

Students in the Accelerated BA/MA program in Museum Studies must:

- Enroll in graduate level versions of these courses during their senior year.
- Maintain a 3.0 grade point average.
- Be accepted into the Masters of Arts in Museum Studies program
- Enroll in the Masters of Arts in Museum Studies program in the semester following graduation with their BA in History of Art and Visual Culture.
