* All Business Core Courses must be completed prior to taking the Capstone Course.
# All BBA or BS in Accounting majors must successfully complete and pass the Business Senior Exam (BSE) as a component of MGMT 4813Strategic Management.
Accounting (2.50 GPA Required for 3000/4000 level Accounting courses): 30 Minimum Required Hours
Required courses: 12 Credit Hours
Accounting Electives (3000/4000 level): 18 Credit Hours
ACCT 3423 Data Analysis for Accountants or ACCT 3433 Accounting Information Systems recommended. All non-required 3000/4000 Accounting Courses EXCEPT ACCT 3113 AND ACCT 3513 will apply. No more than 6 total hours from ACCT 4950 AND ACCT 4412 , ACCT 4421 , ACCT 4432 , ACCT 4442 - CPA Review Courses may count toward Accounting Elective hours. At least fifteen (15) of the thirty (30) 3000/4000 level Accounting hours must be taken at the University of Central Oklahoma. Electives to bring total to: 124 Minimum Required Hours
Minimum Grade Requirements
- Average in (a) all college course work, (b) course work at UCO, and (c) business core courses (including the capstone course): 2.25
- Average in all major courses: 2.50
- Average in the 3/4000 level accounting courses in the major: 2.50
- In ACCT 2113 , ACCT 2133 and ACCT 3233 ”C”
- In ACCT 3213 with a grade “C” or above
