ART 4563 - Jewelry II

This advanced course will serve as advanced level for the jewelry course sequencing. Emphasis will be placed on portfolio development in preparation for the senior capstone and practicum co-requisite. The student will propose and organize a series of semester projects, continued development of their artist statement, investigate advanced techniques, alternative materials, and research of contemporary artists practicing in the field of jewelry. Exhibition beyond the university setting will be required as part of the portfolio development.

Prerequisites: ART 2903, ART 3463 AND ART 4403 all with minimum grade of C

Enrollment Restrictions: Junior or senior standing.
