ACM 4353 - Digital Media


In this course, Digital Media: Digital Dimes and the Survival of the Creative Industries, students will identify and analyze the lure of free digital content, and its effect on the creative industries. Students will chart the media industry’s struggles and contemplate its best response. This course also examines whether or not the vast sea of user-generated amateur content benefits society.

Prerequisites: ACM 1212  OR ACM 1213
