BIO 4423 - Bioinformatics and Genomics


In this course, students develop a broad background on the central concepts in bioinformatics and genomics. Students will learn how to sort through and analyze DNA sequences for the structure and function of genes. Students will also interpret the significance of DNA sequences in the context of a biological function in an organism.

Prerequisites: BIO 3303  with a minimum grade of “C.”
