SOC 3103 - Juvenile Delinquency


Juvenile Delinquency is the study of the nature and extent of devient behavior by legal minors in contemporary society. This course explores the history, organization, and procedures of the juvenile justice system. This course also describes the psychological, sociological, and biological factors and conditions contributing to delinquency while discussing the control and treatment of juvenile delinquency. Credit may not be earned for both SOC 3103 and CJ 3103 . Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above.
