PTE 3133 - Child Psychology

This course provides an overview of the major theories of developmental changes from the prenatal period through late childhood. The course provides an in-depth study of physical, cognitive, psychosocial and emotional development with emphasis on gender, culture and ethnicity as they relate to infancy and childhood in society and within educational settings for teacher candidates. Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing.
