LS 3113 - Legal & Ethical Environment of Business


This course provides an overview of the American legal system as it relates to business, ethical issues in business decision making, and the major sources of law in the United States, with special emphasis on the law of contracts. Other topics include administrative law, labor and employment law, employment discrimination, and concepts of tort law including negligence, intentional torts, strict liability and products liability. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above.
