FRSC 4513 - Forensic Chemistry & Laboratory Forensic Chemistry serves as a “hands-on” introduction to modern forensic chemistry. Topics and analytical techniques covered include sampling and statistics, sample preparation, instrumentation, and analyses related to drugs, arson, explosives, inks, paints, and polymer evidence.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: FRSC 2503 AND (CHEM 3454 OR concurrent enrollment in CHEM 3454 ) or permission of instructor
Concurrent Enrollment / Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in FRSC 4513L is required.
Enrollment Restrictions: Junior standing or above.
