ENGR 4633 - Solid State Devices


This course presents the physical principles of operation of the p-n junction, metal semiconductor contact, bipolar junction transistor, MOS capacitor, MOS and junction field-effect transistors, and related electro-optical devices. First-order device models reflecting the underlying physical principles are developed.

Prerequisites: PHY 3103 , PHY 3183 AND ENGR 3403  all with minimum grade of C
