ENG 4603 - Major Figures in American Film

This course provides an in-depth study of a particular filmmaker or selected groups/movements of filmmakers, surveying their works, examining the critical issues raised by their films, and positioning them within the contexts of film history, theory, and criticism. The content will vary within the limits of the discipline.
