ENG 4563 - Modern British Poetry

This course offers a one-semester survey of the work of the following British poets: William Butler Yeats, Thomas Hardy, Gerard Manley Hopkins, A. W. Housman, D. H. Lawrence, W. H. Auden, and Dylan Thomas. The course will set these poets in historical and critical perspective as well as offer analyses of the poetry.  

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: ENG 1113  AND ENG 1213
