ENG 4383 - Modern American Poetry

This course offers a one-semester survey of the major figures in modernist American poetry, including Frost, Pound, Stevens, and Williams. The course examines the prose criticism of these writers as well as their poetry and assesses their contributions to the development of twentieth-century literary theory.  

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: ENG 1113  AND ENG 1213
