ENG 4163 - Postcolonial Literature Postcolonial Literature uses contemporary historical and literary-critical scholarship within the field of Postcolonial Studies to explore the diverse ways in which literary texts from the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centures have subverted traditional Western ideas of empire and of the colonized.
