ECON 3313 - Introduction to Energy Economics


This course is an introduction to the energy industry from an economic perspective. Specifically, the course will emphasize applying microeconomic concepts to the unique challenges of the energy industry. Students will learn the basic design of several energy related industries including: coal, natural gas, oil, and electricity. Students will also cover the basics of derivatives in the energy industry.
