DES 2163 - Typography

This studio course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of type, typographic design, and typographic communication. Course projects address font selection, layout formats, grid systems and letterform manipulation.  

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: DES 1023 , DES 1033 , DES 1043 , DES 1053  AND (DES 3133  OR concurrent enrollment in DES 3133 ) all with minimum grade of C

Enrollment Restrictions: Sophomore standing or above. Enrollment open to Graphic Design majors only.
