CMSC 4313 - Internet of Things

In this course, we will study the ‘things’ that make up the Internet of Things (IoT). The topics include what these ‘things’ are, how they are connected, how they communicate, how large sets of data collected by the IoT can be stored in cloud storage, and how such data can be utilized. We will also examine the security and privacy issues surrounding IoT. In the term project, students will design and develop new IoT applications.
