CJ 4523 - Cyber Crime


Cyber Crime provides an introduction to the investigation of computer crime and the forensic examination of digital evidence. This course involves intensive study of the history and terminology of computer crime; the types of crimes committed in cyberspace; a behavioral profile of computer offenders; legal issues in cyberspace; the proper collection and preservation of digital evidence, and an overview of computer forensics. 

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: CJ 1413 ENG 1213  AND ENG 1113   

Enrollment Restrictions: Junior or senior standing.
