CJ 4123 - The Jury System This course is designed to provide an indepth study of the processes and procedures of a jury trial in the American criminal justice system. The course will cover: the origin of juries, how jury panels are developed, how juries are selected, the criminal trial court procedures during trial, the legal rights of an accused during a trial, a brief overview of the appellate court system for criminal cases.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: ENG 1113 AND ENG 1213
Enrollment Restrictions: Junior or senior standing.
