CJ 3703 - Administration of Correctional Institutions


Administration of Correctional Institutions is a study of historical and contemporary approaches to corrections and the administration of penal institutions with emphasis on the organizational structure, function, and personnel requirements of correctional institutions as well as the philosophy behind their operation. Special attention will be directed towards modern concepts of rehabilitation and problems associated with their implementation in penal institutions.  

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: ENG 1113 ENG 1213  AND CJ 1413  

Enrollment Restrictions: Junior standing or above.
