BIO 4853 - General Methods of Teaching Science And Laboratory This course is a study of different methods/approaches of teaching science (life and physical sciences, grades 6-12) and current issues in science education for secondary science education majors. Curriculum includes individual experience involving application of methods and approaches learned in the course.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: BIO 4812 AND six hours of science courses at the 3000 level
Enrollment Restrictions: Junior or senior standing. Admission to Professional Teacher Education or permission of instructor.
Notes: The course consists of two hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week.
