BIO 4633 - Scanning Electron Microscopy And Laboratory This course is a study of the theory and principles of scanning electron microscopy with special attention to sample preparation, critical point drying, sputter coating, and operation of scanning electron microscope (SEM). Laboratory exercises will enable students to become proficient in the operation of the SEM and supporting instrumentation, as well as sample preparation.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: BIO 1304, BIO 1404, BIO 2314 and 12 hours of Biology electives and STAT 2103.
Enrollment Restrictions: Senior standing.
