BIO 4254 - Animal Behavior And Laboratory


The behavior of animals will be studied emphasizing the ecological and evolutionary significance of behavior patterns in nature. General principles and processes will be illustrated using recent empirical findings.

Credit Hours: 4

Prerequisites: (BIO 3154  OR BIO 3454 ) AND STAT 2103  all with minimum grade of C

Concurrent Enrollment / Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in BIO 4254L  

Notes: The course consists of three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. Field work is required. Students may not receive credit for both BIO 4213  and BIO 4254.
