BIO 3054 - Microbiology for Majors And Laboratory

This is a foundational microbiology course that emphasizes microbial classification, structure, growth, metabolism, genetics, biotechnology, industrial applications, and ecology. The laboratory provides hands-on experience in handling, isolating, staining, identifying, and controlling microorganisms. It includes a brief survey of microorganisms.  

Credit Hours: 4

Prerequisites: BIO 1204 , BIO 1224 , BIO 2203 , CHEM 1223 , CHEM 1232  AND STAT 2103  all with minimum grade of C

Concurrent Enrollment / Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in BIO 3054L
