The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), in collaboration with Connors State College (CSC), participates in articulated transfer agreements to assist students in transferring smoothly from the associate degree to the baccalaureate degree. These agreements express a shared commitment to student access and success in higher education.
This document specifies courses to be taken at CSC and courses to be taken at UCO to meet this agreement.

Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) - Nursing
Students should refer to the associate degree requirements and an academic advisor for associate degree details to ensure a successful transition to UCO. University of Central Oklahoma University Core
This section is an outline of the UCO University Core. University Core areas not completed as part of the A.A.S. degree at the community college need to be completed as part of the UCO bachelor’s degree requirements. Written and Oral Communication: 9 hours

If a student can prove Novice 4 proficiency in a second language either by 2 years of a second language in high school or successful testing, then the student may select three hours from the following cultural analysis courses. Degrees from UCO have requirements applicable to all degrees and requirements specific to the program/major. Degree Requirement Minimums for All Programs/Majors
Students must meet all bachelor’s degree requirements at UCO to include minimums of: - 40 hours of upper division coursework
- 30 hours in residence at UCO
- 15 of the last 30 hours must be taken in residence at UCO
- 60 hours from baccalaureate granting institutions
- 124 total hours
UCO Major Requirements

Nursing The baccalaureate degree in nursing at UCO is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.aacnnursing.org/CCNE). Graduates of this state approved program are eligible to apply write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for registered nurses. Pre-Professional: 38-39 hours

Minimum Grade Requirements
- Average in (a) all college course work, and (b) course work at UCO: 2.00
- A minimum grade of “C” must be earned in all CHEM, BIO, and NURS prefix courses.
Electives
All UCO degrees require a minimum of 124 credit hours. Electives may be needed to bring total credit hours to 124. Total hours required for this major may exceed the minimum 124 credit hour institutional requirement and will vary according to course selection. It is recommended students complete two years of a second language in high school. Transfer Policies
