MSBA 5232 - Data Visualization

This course will introduce students to the field of data visualization so as to increase the understanding of complex data and data models. Students will learn basic visualization design, evaluation principles, as well as data acquisition and parsing of large data sets. Additionally, students will learn techniques for visualizing multivariate, temporal, text-based, geospatial, hierarchical and network/graph-based data. A variety of current tools will be introduced to enhance student learning and understanding of the field.
