MUS 2223 - Music Theory III This course is the third in the undergraduate theory sequence. Students will explore the meaning of chromaticism in tonal music through the examination of tonicization, common chord modulation, modal mixture, chromatic pre-dominants and enharmonic chromatic modulation. Prerequisite(s): MUS 1183 and MUS 1161 . Concurrent enrollment in MUS 2151 is required.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: MUS 1183 for undergraduate level with minimum grade of D AND MUS 1161 for undergraduate level with minimum grade of D
