DANC 1123 - History of Hip Hop Dance This course will be an introduction to the four elements of Hip Hop: emceeing, graffiti, dj-ing, and breakdancing. This course will study the people and events from the 1960s to the present that contributed to the development of the early hip-hop dance styles: uprock, breaking, locking, roboting, boogaloo, and popping as well as how it had influenced current artists.
