CTWD 4352 - Accommodating Special Needs Students


This course will provide the participant with an explanation of the occupational instructor’s roles and responsibilities in special education students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEP). In addition, a discussion of the “how-to” for accommodating instruction, media, materials, equipment, work stations and facilities will be provided. Finally, securing work-site learning opportunities and job placement strategies will be discussed.  

Credit Hours: 2

Prerequisites: OCTE 4253 OR CTWD 4253
