BME 4343 - Biomechanics This course introduces the principles and application of mechanics (statics, dynamics, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and continuum mechanics) in biological and medical problems. Topics include cellular mechanics, hemodynamics, cardiovascular mechanics, ocular mechanics, musculoskeletal mechanics, and frontiers in biomechanics.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: ENGR 2033 AND MATH 3103 both with minimum grade of C
Enrollment Restrictions: Admission into the Engineering and Physics Upper Division is required.
