BME 3043 - Biomaterials

This course covers the principles of material science underlying biomedical applications. Topics include biocompatibility, properties and structures of metals, ceramics, polymers, biomaterials, and composites.

Prerequisites: CHEM 1103, CHEM 1112, (ENGR 1311 OR BME 1311), PHY 2114 AND (MATH 3103 OR concurrent enrollment in MATH 3103) all with minimum grade of C

Enrollment Restrictions: Admission into the Engineering and Physics Upper Division is required.
