ART 2012 - Introduction to Art Education

This course is an introduction to theory and practice in Art Education and overview of curriculum and instructional strategies.  Course content includes theoretical foundations and history of the field of Art Education, research and practice in Art Education, and contexts for art teaching. 

Credit Hours: 2

Prerequisites: ART 1023 , ART 1043 , ART 1063 , ART 1073 , (ART 1083 , ART 1153  OR concurrent enrollment)

Enrollment Restrictions: Sophomore standing or above. Enrollment open to Art Education majors only.
